As for us cross the pond, what should have seen at least a month of April showers has been a steady increase in our sunshine and temperatures. They are now saying that the whole month of May will be in the 80's at least, let's wait and see.

I hope we don't burn out before our summer kicks in thou.

Same here in California, even though it is generally much warmer that England...lol

Our problem is not enough rain. If it persists, the whole country will be paying higher prices for produce, meat, wine, and dairy products! Ouch!

I’ve never been one to blow my own trumpet besides, having Jewish parents I’ve never needed to, all my accomplishments were put out there for family and friends to hear or see whether it was a fart or something more tangible they were out there!

Nowadays we are told it’s okay to promote yourself, we are told we should learn to love ourselves and feel confident in the fact that others will love us for it.

As I’m hardwired ‘old school’ and that’s not a music term as in ‘Old Skool’, I would prefer to sit on the fence with all that except I will say and to blow my own trumpet or at leat try as I’m not good at this…….

…yesterday, I won a pool match that has put me in the final of this competition (to be played Sunday 13th April), I will add here that it is now two years in a row that I have reached this stage and I won it last year. So as current champion I will and have blown my own trumpet.
